My Exercise Plan
Well now that things have calmed down a bit, I can get to doing some exercising! Not that I didn't burn quite a few calories when I was moving, though. On the main day we moved stuff with the Uhaul my BodyMedia Fit arm band recorded 4137 Calories total that day! But even with moving my activity level's been hit and miss.
My basic plan to start with is doing at least 1 hour of intense exercise with a cardio and/or strength training DVD (making sure to not strength train the same muscles 2 days in a row). With DVDs that have 30 minute workouts I'll probably follow it with a short cardio DVD such as Hip Hop dancing or a cardio boot camp.
With that, my goal every day (even on rest days) with the help of my arm band, is to walk 10,000 steps. I've been averaging about 4000 a day doing normal activity, sometimes reaching 5,000-7,000 while moving.
I'm doing this as opposed to joining some "plan" because I've done so many "plans" that each have gone down like Lindsay Lohan trying to stay sober.
I'm kind of excited to see what my calorie output is going to look like with all the exercising, and my goal is to lose at least 10 lbs over the next 4 weeks.
